Torre Galatea

Salvador Dalí and Miguel Mateu, entrepreneur, cultural patron, and founder of Peralada, shared a close friendship throughout their lives. The world-renowned Empordà painter often visited the castle his friend acquired in 1923, where he painted and delivered occasional speeches. Peralada and the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation honor this friendship with Torre Galatea Reserva, a wine that expresses the essence of the Empordà, its soils and climate, an environment that inspired much of the artist’s masterful work. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Peralada Torre Galatea Reserva is donated to the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation.
