Miguel Mateu was a singular personality, combining his talent for business and politics with an admirable sensitivity to art and culture. His unique character also shaped his approach to winemaking. Peralada has inherited this sensitivity, which continues to guide the winery today, and proudly honors its founder with a Gran Reserva that bears his name.

Cherry red color. Aroma with hints of ripe fruits and spices, balsamic notes and a roasted background. The palate is broad, structured and balanced. It has some tannins present but very well integrated, and the acidity gives it a lot of freshness. It is a wine with a lot of personality and a long aftertaste.
